Couple things, first of all I'd say don't plant melons, they take way too long to harvest and even though they are 500 bucks each, you can only get that once vs grapes which are like 300 something grow much faster and you can harvest them many times, they are a much better value for the initial investment.
The other thing, it appears that regardless of weather or not you have an account, you can only save one farm per computer :( Hitting 'New Game' automatically starts you over from scratch.

I've never played the one on facebook, I don't have it. But this one is very cute and my 5 and 7 year old love it! I admit, I do too :)

To get to the next day you have to click your house and then click on the alarm clock. ^_^
